Ain't No Cure For Love
On Valentine’s Day, I’m posting a man who understood that love is not merely a matter of the heart — it’s a matter of depth.
Leonard Cohen was never romantic in the easy sense. He was romantic in the dangerous way.
He saw love not as a promise of happiness, but as a revelation of truth.
Because real love is not the one that finds us.
It is the one that undresses us.
And ultimately, the one that happens within us.
And he knew this well:
whatever cannot survive our silence is not love.
